Our Mission

HPV Cancer Free Alaska is calling you to action in the fight against Human Papillomavirus (HPV). We ask you to join our mission to prevent HPV and related cancers by improving vaccination rates in Alaska.

By instituting system changes to improve HPV vaccination, your system or organization can improve HPV vaccination rates and reduce future suffering, lower costs associated with treatment, and ultimately help save patients’ lives.

2026 Rural Learning Community

The American Cancer Society and the ACS National HPV Vaccination Roundtable are partnering with rural healthcare providers to expand knowledge and improve access to preventive care, including on-time HPV vaccination and other cancer screenings. This rural learning community will provide practical strategies and peer-based learning to help participants implement evidence-based interventions that strengthen cancer prevention and screening efforts in their clinics and communities.

2026 Promising Practices Series

The American Cancer Society (ACS) and the ACS National HPV Vaccination Roundtable (HPVRT) are inviting health care professionals to this dynamic, no-cost educational series created to support the sharing of effective strategies
and real-world solutions for strengthening HPV vaccination and cervical cancer elimination initiatives within healthcare systems, public health initiatives, and community organizations.
